I don't know everything that is in his car but I know the guy who had it before him put a ton of time and money in it. I Also know that it will beat the hell out of my Stang, even if I get it up to the HP levels I want that little SOB is all wheel drive, but me and him are friends and it will be fun.

i have a friend who has the same stang but with a auto they added a cold air intake, throttle bodyie spacer, chip for the trans and manual GT mufflers and i think one other bolt on mod.
they run around a 14.5 in the quater with the ac on high i was way impressed and now they just installed 4.10 gears awhile back

I hope to be around 13.9 with the slicks. Some of the cars in the mags I have seen with close to the same set up have been in the high 13's.

I was pulling 18 flat in the Black Jeep at PIR last summer, made it to the finals and lost to a bike. Not bad for a Jeep. Was a Les Schwab employee day at PIR.

Besides robbing horse power which the 4.6 is light on to start with, it is just not safe. The water coming off the evaporator would get on the track and could cause someone to spin the tires, loose the race, or worst case go into the wall. I am not sure what track they were running on but I have seen the track guys at Woodburn not let people on the track for small drips coming from under the car. I am happy to know that the car did that well with the AC on but please let them know that what they did or are doing is not safe for other peoples cars.

i think they onley did it on there last run not all the time. they did it because when it would hit second the tires would just spin with the ac on it took enough power away to hook up and get a better time they where racing at PIR i forgot there car onley has the v6.
they got sticker tires now and 4.10 gears so maybe it will hook up better when it hits second

I did not want to come off sounding like an !@#hole or anything, but now that I am back to running my street car and not a play car just want to make sure that everything is as safe as possible. My wife would kill me if I bring the car home on a flatbed.

Hey guys, just checking out the stang build.I had the header drag issue on my maro after the build without lowering springs.I installed a basic aftermarket air bag setup inside the coils(80 bux). Then with 8-10psi in em i shoehorned my biggest buddy into the car. That was hilarious dude is 6 ft 4 and 325pnds.The rollcage is a bit constrictive LOL. THE BAGS WORKED AWESOME!!!!!!!!! It was roast city, and no dragging,or bumping tires bottoming out.I like em.

Not going to be doing anything major to the car for a while. Between school, work and tring to find time do do things with the wife and kids time and money are short in the summer. Hope to put headers x-pipe and do some brake mods this winter.

Since the weather was so nice yesterday and it did not rain I got to put the slicks on the car and go to PIR and see what the car would do. After a couple runs of getting used to racing a manual transmission I ran my best time of the night of 13.947@99.10 MPH. For a Basically stock car with about 250 HP at the wheels I am happy as hell with that. Can't wait for spring term at school to be over so i can go down and run at Woodburn, there is are to many punk kids and to much rice at PIR street legal nights.
