Because its easier to label the thread that instead of "A bunch of friends and family and forum and website info"
All this thread is for is for people to realize they didnt pay dues to join or sign a contract to join or whatever. There are probably 30-50 people on here that realise yes we are a close group and wheel like a club but without the politics.
We are more of a gang. we look out for each other.

I would be more worried about someone not with us getting hurt by someone in the group and then the group being held responsible. I am probly over thinking all of this but just trying to cover my butt on all aspects.
carry on.

You can never over-do it when it comes to clarification. Thanks for the info, it's real helpful though.

Then home come we have a thread called "Club Information"? I thought this paragragh explained it but guess not, i changed the name. The terms "club" and "members" that are used in this forum is for simplicity not to be used as a legal standard. Yes you are a member of this message board. We are all here for fun and friends, basically the entertainment value and should be taken as such.

I think people need to realize the simplicity of this matter all together we all are responsible for our own actions and should enjoy the oportunity this "group" provides a safer more freindly way to enjoy the greatness of the hobby we all have in common and the ability to meet and make new freinds with the same interests its on each of our shoulders to decide what to do this group gives us all a level playing field to do so I for one dont care about the legalities of it I just am thankful to meet and hang out with some of the best folks I've ever met and do the things I enjoy

good post, I have been running in the mud since 1977 with my 75 bronco, so I have seen royal rear-ends mess it up for everybody. Trails closed, tickets issued just because one or two morons can't live the rules, mades all look like sh-t.

EVEN if I was signed up for a club, and I did something stupid, (for example, not obeying sand lake rules and running without a flag, and I end up getting hit while flying over a dune) I still wouldn't hold a 'club' responsible for me being an idiot. I for 1, would never do something that stupid and I'd expect anyone to point that out to me if I was being stupid. I would never hold anyone else responsible for anything (even if you towed me outta the mud and ripped my bumper off) .... but anyways.... well said !

what i dont want to happen is for example you were flying across the dunes and hit some kid during an "event", then their parents try to sue a "club" because the name was on the truck.
