that's not bad for 60 bucks. all it needs are some handles protruding from the sides so it will be easier to man handle once the winch is mounted.

So, besides the minor electrical problems lately, I discovered that the A/C is out of r12 again. Found out that it is leaking in the same spot as before on the new a/c condensor. Don't think I took another rock hit in the same spot, must be something rubbing a hole in it. Will find out next week sometime. Going to get another new a/c condensor and put in and see what it is rubbing on. Going to put new heater hoses and overflow bottle on it too at that time. Hose on bottom of overflow bottle is seaping coolant.

if the one out of a zj fits, you can have mine. my a/c pump started leaking about 4 years ago and i never use a/c anyway, so i've got no intentions on fixing it.

Buzzer posted the main thing under "General Board" "PB rescue in progress", and ya, got the problem fixxed. Before the break-down at the beach, I had the heater fan short out. The hot wire from the fan to the switch grounded out somewhere, never found out where, just isolated the wire and ran a new one. It ran from the center of the dash, thru the drivers side. down the drivers side fender, accross the front, and down the passenger fender to the fan. I put in a new wire from passenger side dash thru pasenger fender to the fan. 12' verses 2' of wire...lol.

Ok...another break down for the Jeep today. We decided since both of us had the day off, we would do something relaxxing. We decided to go to Austin Hot Springs which is closer then Bagby Hot Springs past Estacada. We have never been to Austin Hot Springs and did our home work of exactly where it was. All said and done took off this morning, and the Black Jeep started kinda slow...think, maybe battery is a little low from the electrical issue from sunday? Well, drive for a little bit and make sure it is fully charged. Stopped and topped off the tank, seemed to start ok...still sounded a little sluggish. So got over to Sherwood, and decide to stop at Les Schwab and check the battery, put it in new July of 2007, maybe bad cell??? Battery checked out perfect, so I'm thinking maybe starter? Altenator is only 2 years old and high amp one at that, and the gauge says it's charging fine. So we stop at the McDonalds on Hwy 224 & 135th just before the Damascas and Estacada turn off. Jeep won't start! Starter is 3 years 3 months old NAPA Remanufactured one. Find out it is a 3 year warranty one....go figure! Thought I had purchased the lifetime one. Called NAPA in Forest Grove, told them what was going on, they said Ya, you did get the lifetime, just gave me what they had at the time....cool. Call the NAPA on Hwy 224 and had them run me down a new lifetime one in exchange for my old one. Just Glad we decided to stop, would have sucked to be 30 miles out of Estacada and be stuck.. AGAIN!!!......MARV!!.....LOL!
