I was in such a hurry to get it painted before dark, I remember to clean the slags off of the flat plates. That will have to wait until we get back.

lets see... What else.. oh YA! I got the video camara mounted. I would see if it shakes by doing a test drive before we leave. ;D It is nice because it has a quick disconnect to remove it so we can video the other rigs easly.

I did a couple test videos today. I added some fur to the mic so it will not pick up the wind as bad. I secured the video camara but it still shakes. Byas tires... I think the shake is in the jeep, not the video cam.
Got the rear winch wiring finished with the fuse in the power line by the battery so I will not have any issues with it.
Drilled a couple holes in the roll cage base plates but they come out 1/2 on a brace so I can not bolt them down the way I wanted to.
Wanted to get the tires changed and jeep put in trailer today but never got around to it. I ended up building a garden box and addind some super grow dirt instead.

Looking good Rusty.. What about the trailer? Are you a go then? Yes I checked out the bearings and replaced the tires. I have to get the replacement pieces for the top, change the tires and load them.

Finally, I got spare axle shafts today. They are 27 splined so I home they work. I could have the 30 spline chrome molly axles also. The only way to tell is to take them out. Either way. I have the outer one. It is the same on both sides.

cool!! let us know how the winch works on the suckin the axle down! Im jealous been wanting to do that for a long time! The rear winch is pretty cool. It has a pre set 6" adjustment on it. I just have to "tap" the button on the remote and the winch will either suck down 6" or relase 6". Of course if I hold the button it will work like a normal winch, but the tap feature is great for what i am using it for. I have it set for 5" of slack, so when I tap the "A" button, it takes up the slack and pulls the suspention down just 1". This way I can have a slight load on it and it will not release the suspention when going down hills, and with a tap of the "B" button, I have 5" of slack, two tapes 11", if needed.
