We got our new cam in- It's a trick flow stage one cam. Duration 283/291, Lift .499/.510, Ford, 5.0, New Trick flow cam VS new stock cam. Just look at how tall and rounded the lobs are on the trick flow (left) compared to the stock truck cam.

Not a good visual but basic shape, mine is shaped like the top one the old one is the bottom rectangle These are the connectors I don't know.. Could they be the old MAF type?

That's at the wrong end of the harness, the maf branches off the loom going to the O2's and by the pic it looks like the egr control valve connector is laying there unplugged.

OK, the new motor is competed and ready to stuff in the jeep!! :-).. Now I need a way and time to do it :-(. We are thinking of pulling off the front wheels to lower it enough to use the cherry picker to pull the motor, but then putting the new one in will be a challange because it will be at an angle. Anyone have one of the adjustable engine slings or any other suggestions?

Thanks. I'm not sure I want to buy one as I'm hoping this is a one time thing ;D Still I didn't know they were that cheap. I may end up buying one then selling it when I'm done.

I got one but for your time and fuel to get it you might as well buy one.

Yes, thanks though. I'm just hoping I can find the time to put it in soon... I can't wait to hear it fire up! I've put more $$ into the motor then I wanted to, but it is built great now and in the future we can boost it big time (25 PSI max) without having to worry about it pulling apart . This is the smaller 4.6 version of the motor we are building

Nope. It's completed sitting on the engine stand :-(. I've just been to busy. We just got back from DuneFest (GREAT Time), I'm hoping Tyler gets a weekend off work so we can shove it in. If not I may end up paying someone to pull the old one and stuff the new one in.

If you need any other parts I'm going to get rid of all of it now just FYI.
