i was pickin on ya lol LOL.. Thanks. I still don't really understand the differance, but with everyone giving me the same advise, I will probably cut out the floor and fix it the way everyone tells me to. I welded the plate on so.. it will come back off easy. I looked it over tonight after getting back from wheeling. It looks fine, but my for some reason my axle broke Thanks Kevin and Mel for letting me change the axle shaft in your nice dry shop! I really appriciate it. We also found a anti-sway bar plate I had welded on, had broke my horrible welds and came off. Kevin went to weld it back up for me, but he ran out of wire. It is tack welded back on for now.

Got my backup camera installed and now I am working on finishing the steering up.
Tyler and I got 1/4 wall pipe and slid it over the zj steering. Now the track bar should not bend if I tap it on something :-).. put in new moge tie rod ends and replaced all the joints in the steering.
I set the toe 1/8 in on the front tires and it seems to drive fine down the road, but I'm thinking I will pay to have it aligned.

Don't know now much it costs but PSI does alignments. It's probably comparable cost to what Les Schwab charges.

I didn’t even think about PSI, I have an appointment at alignment specialties on Friday. I know I have a couple warn hymes on my front axle. They are making noise. They are from the Skyjacker Long arm kit. I have not been able to find the replacement dimensions (Hyme size, Miss alignment spacers, Right and left handed threads, Size and pitch exec). I don’t want to buy Skyjacker replacements but I would like to get them replaced before I have the alignment done.

I'm confused and a little frustrated on these joints. It appears to be cheaper to buy new lower control arms then to replace the joints. The joints are $81.99 each so $327.96 just for the lower front two long arms. www.quadratec.com/products/16123_101.htmDaystar makes 0-6 lift long arms for $219. www.quadratec.com/products/56015_500.htmCurrie is $260 for the lowers.. www.quadratec.com/products/product_search.php?kw=16054.9008+&submit=GoI talked to Balistic, but don't know what joints are the same. I know they are 1.25 with 14mm bolt, but not the thread pitch or any other details. Plust Balistic seems to be the same price as the Skyjackers ones that I know will work... Ugh jeep= just empty every pocket.... It seems to be reminding me of why I called it the "money pit"..

I'd save your money on the alignment, or at least just have them do a toe set and then you can center the steering wheel yourself. The adjuster for centering the steerig wheel won't affect your toe set alignment. Unless you want to know what ALL the alignment angles are? Pretty much on jeeps, as long as you have a little toe-in on the front alignment, there's really not much more you can adjust and they will drive just fine.

Went to the tracker store today, behind the Kubota dealership in Hillsboro and they had tracker rods with himes for $26. This comes with both himes and the 4link rod. The himes say forged on them, but the threads are coarse threaded and the do not come with locking bolts. The store doesn’t carry bolts that size and thread pitch either. The himes look much cheaper then other, but for the cost difference they make sense to buy.
So what is the difference and why wouldn’t I want the tractor long rods and himes?
