I am puting new gears and a lock right in the front end and re-sealing both ends with new seals and gaskets.

I wound up ordering a new Yucon 3rd member and a spool to go with the new gears and bearings for the rear. I moved the detroit to the front instead of useing the lock right. I started to asemble the front end tonight and found out that the birfield on the long side was badly cracked and would of failed soon. Good thing I had a spare. I should have the new diff back from my gear guy by the end of the weekend. Stronger birfields might have to be the next investment...

I have seen the way you drive, now that you are locked I'm sure those birfs won't last long.
