i have a holley truck avenger that i wil reuse and the valve covers will be my old chrome ones...but i dont want to waist a gasket untill i run the motor and re-set the valves then they will go on...

wanted it done for summer bash...LOL...withing a cuple weeks i should be wheeling again, maybe even be at summer bash...just not in full form.

Lookin nice man!!! Did you move the cab and motor back, they seem like their sitting back a bit more than normal. I was thinking maybe you did it to center weight, but maybe its just the lack of sleep talking. Anyways nice work it looks like its coming along nicely.

so i was planning on going to summer bash but at 11:30 on saterday night i realized that i still had too: fill and bleed brakes top off-PS, Trans, oil install radiator install trans cooler seats belts wire the entire truck build battery mount shocks exhuast turn downs plug wires B&M ratchet shifter fuel tank fuel lines belts 2in lift blocks in rear (still need to purchase) i was up till midnight everynight that week but it was just too much to get done, so here are the pics and how far it is now, didnt get to work on it at all this last week but i have a couple days off of work to get it all ready! thats where my t-case shifter come up (you can kinda see the top of it) this is the radiator mount and the extended steering shaft the fuel tank set in still needing bolted and plumbed when the shop i was using was unavalible i hauled it out to my uncles to do the last of the welding (i thought, rad mount and steering extention)

So i finally talked my wife into helping me...didnt get it running yet but got a KILLER paint job (if i say so myself). My wife had this blue camo idea and i let her do it and i am so impressed! Fuel cell all painted and even cheap spray on chrome the inside was the first to get painted end of day one the inside and outside camoed up shot of the back Day Two got the inside bottom cheap-o-lined, and the roll cage chromed! front shot, the firewall got painted black to go with the interior So the guys at the shop saw it and said "smurf camo" and my wife thought up "RAMBO SMURF"
