Finally got a set of new tires and wheels for my truck. The wheels are 15x10 Cragar soft 8, the tires are 35x12.50r15. Total package for wheels/tires was $850, then $80 for mounting and balancing. Not too bad for summit racing and ebay. Here are the pics, some before and after... Before (33x12.50r17) After (35x12.50r15) Before After Before After Looks like my next purchase is going to be some fender flare so I don't get harrassed by the cops, that and removable mud flaps. Some more The wheels have a 4" backspacing, and if I remember correctly -38mm offset. They clear the brake calibers by about 1/8" and that might be giving them more then there really is, it's close. The tires are Maxxis Bighorns. Keeping my 17's and the 33's for now, and will use them for most of my day to day, and use the 35's for the trails. Figure it will be better mileage, and less wear and tear on the drivetrain. Let me know what you guys think.

Pretty cool truck. Looks like you could have fit the 35s without the lift! I didnt know the wells allowed for it!

It's a 5" Superlift. It was on the truck when I bought it back in November. When the previous owner installed the lift, instead of putting the coil spring spacer and larger block in the rear, they swapped out the springs for the Superlift ones. Now I need some 4.56 gears with a locker or two, to replace the 4.10's and LSD.

blk01ram I was wundering if you could do me a favor, I know my truck is higher then a stock ram but i do not know by how much, I was hopeing you could messure your actual tire hight and from the ground to the center of top of wheel wells to try to help me figure out how high my truck is compared to stock.

The 3's look like street tires, it should be a 1000 times better. You could have went with 37's no prob.

That's cool. Thanks, also to respond to your earlier post that I read a week ago and forgot to post, the top of the wheel wells in the front are 46" off the ground and the rear is 48". The truck sits level, but the wheel wells in the rear are taller on these Rams for when you have a load. The tires also measure a little over 34" with the pressure I'm running.
