got my 2 half doors cut to where i want them roughly........now need to get them reinforced and the top half skinned... If anyone here knows about fuel systems PM me....... the trucks not pumping fuel at all.... I've replaced all the rubber hoses....replaced the fuel filter....took air a blew out the hard lines....cleanned the carb filter..... changed the manual fuel pump to a electric one.... and still neither work now..... going to buy a new manual pump.... in the next week and pray that works...other wise i'm stumped.....

if a good electric pump dont work then a new manual pump shouldnt either. drop the tank and check the pick up.

I would say Ive done that, and had problems with the electric pump to prime it self. Took an air nozzle and raped a rag around it and pushed a little air into the gas tank, to push the fuel up to the electric pump, all was good after that just don't run out of gas. This may not work for you but it did for me. I hate fuel problems

i try something like that when theres a dry day out there..... i did take the fuel line off the filter and filled the electric pump w fuel and the filter it self too..... but that must be the problem..... due they both drinned back down the line once i connected them.... Damb fuel!

Is the pump turning on but just not pumping? I would assume that the only options is that its not primed properely or you have a leak somewhere. that is if its turning on and not pumping.... Does your truck have a nob next to the drivers side seat? I had a 78 and if you kicked the nob a quarter turn the pump would turn on and no fuel.... It was funny when I got the truck It died on me after a week, but I knew I had fuel, so I took it to ford they had it for three days and couldnt find anything wronge, and my grandpa came to town to visit opened the door and turned the nob a quarter turn and it fired right up.... LOL

Did you put the electric pump before or after the mechanical pump? Does it still go through the mechanical pump? May just have a bad electric pump.
