I haven't posted about it in a long while but much hasn't changed since the first time I posted about it. The broken parts list on it (so far) is 3 engines (1- 350) (1- 400) (1- 305) 3- th 350's, 2 12bolt rear ends. The last one going out with a big bang literally shooting pinion and ring gear teeth through the diff cover. One door, two fenders, a hood, a wing window and I think thats all for the big items that I remember off hand, it's been since before I joined the Marine Corps that I last drove it.
Right now it's just sitting in storage neglected cause I drive my F-250 flatbed when I'm home but I plan on bringing the Chev down to Cali when I come home again in Sept to get married.
The specs on the truck as I left it almost two years ago are 350 with all new bearing in the bottom end, new rings, can't remember what heads, nor cam specs but it had to get a stall converter and doesn't mind spinning over 6,000 rpm. Preformer intake, reworked q-jet, aftermarket hei coil, msd revlimiter hard wired in. headers to dual 2 1/2 flowies. The tranny is once again a th 350, this one has a hughes kit in it as well as a transgo shift kit, mild stall and a b&m tranny cooler and ratchet shifter. Still has the np203 in it but it has a part time kit in it. D44 front and a 14 bolt in the rear 4.09, 4.10 both open. The 35's are on the Ford at the moment.
I have a 69' 402 sitting in storage that has allready been decked just needing to bore, I refurbished my own rods and put arp wave locks in them. I pulled the forged crank from my donor 366 bbc. I have two factory highrise intakes casting numbers identifing them as 350hp 396 , 425hp 427 65' to 69? I think is the last year, vet and chevelle. Ones a Cast Iron Holley square bore the other a spread bore. A fairly "lumpy" cam, I'm hoping to get close to 1 hp per cube. I also have a sm465 married to a np205 with front drive line and all the brackets and linkage to put it in minus shifter cause I gave that to WOTPOS. Hopefully I'll get all that put together when I have time down in Cali.
Still 1/2 tn
After year and a half and many stumps etc.
