The frame that the suburban body came off of is the one I cut up.

Baught a rear heater for a suburban, from CL today. I'm hoping to mount it under the front seat facing back at the kids' feet. It was mounted just inside the tailgate in the burb it came out of

My thaught is that they put the same heater in the dash of a pick up and a suburban. I've never been impressed, or cooked out of a pick up. So, I figure heating a suburban on a snow run will need as much help as possable. It was only $20 and I'll have to buy a switch, some wire and some heater hose. (prity cheep)
It looks like I might be able to cut into the rear doors a little when I cut out the wheel well's. If I end up bobbing the back, It'll end up an early tahoe....

Got the wood blocks out and lowered it down to where it will end up at. I had to start cutting the fenders to get it that low.I tried to get a pic of it but my camera didn't work. I've dropped it several times and I think it might have to be replaced.

robert lends me a hand when I need a second body, but for the most part I've done it all by my self. My best friend has been dealing with some life issues so he hasn't been available lately. Robert is working to make a living while I'm at his shop. Earl (one of the members of my club) came down and surprised me one night. Of course I usualy have the help of Brody. My almost 4 year old son. He mostly just distracts me, but he loves hanging out with me at the shop.

Oh, I fixed my camera too. The on/off switch was popped apart a little. I just pushed it back in and now it works again. It had fallen out of my pocket, and hit the floor. It's all good now.

I had to work late last night so for the first time since I started this, I wasn't able to work on it. I was able to go to baxters and pick up my body bushings though. If I don't work late today, maybe I will be able to start securing the body to the frame.

Tonight I spent a lot of time looking for the metal sleeves for the body mounts, bolts and nuts for the body mounts. Put what I could together to see what it looked like I would have to do to make the body mounts work. Now I have a game plan. Most of the mounts will move up on the frame to lift the body with out a 3 inch plastic spacer. There is a section that I decided to use spacers though. It should be coming together prity quick. Then I will have to start on all the smaller things. Hoses, wires, shifters, steering shaft, brake lines etc.

The little things are usually the "harder things" and the most time consuming!!!
