Really? Probably easier just to get the inserts replaced?

Ok got it running, replaced the distributor with an HEI, and new wires. The carb was all gummed up so I stuck a holly 750 vacuum secondary on there cause I had an extra.

Got the axles from possum, 14 bolt and a 10 bolt front, 8 lug, looks like 3.73 gears. I think I may just swap on the outers on the front, already have 3.73 in the dana 44 on it. Also I'm thinking of welding the rear.

working hard to get every thing working for the bog. new hoses, battery cables, belts, carb, air cleaner, distributor number 2, fix the pin hole in the radiator, weld a new battery hold down, etc. And to think I was going to try to get a exhaust done, fat chance.

OK picked up some exhaust for this thing for summerbash, what do you guys think about welding a 12 bolt up? I'll be running a 36-38 inch tire and all be parking in the camp ground witch means pavement, think she'll hold together? I do have replacement axles (14 bolt) that will be going later, but not before SB4......

I ran a welded 12 bolt for a couple years with no issues on the street. Was a little nervous but it always held. I wouldnt think twice about it especially if it is towed to the beach. Weld it and when done toss it in the scrap.

Ok going to put the freebies on instead of the swampers for summer bash, I think the wider is better than being a little taller. anyways it wasn't to hard to pry the swamper off and get the Cepek on..all terrains I think do better in sand due to not digging as much, at least that's what Ive experienced..
