And here's a throw back shot; took one similar to this back in November 08 at Trace's Charity Mud Bog in Mollala. Just a few differences...

Wow, look what I found two pages back. lol Got different plans for this now (well for a couple months now actually). I picked up a 500 Cadillac engine to put in it. Just waiting on funds for the adapter plate between the engine and trans, new flexplate, and starter before I drop it in. Gonna leave it stock, including quadra-jet carb, iron intake and exhaust manifolds, and even the points distributor. I sold the 42's that were on it knowing somebody else could use them before they dry-rotted on me, so it's just sitting on some 35's for now. I miss my truck.

Progress has finally been made on this. It's not getting the 500 Caddy engine just yet. Instead it's getting a small block (305 ) that's been sitting in the garage for a couple years. Engine getting ready to go in: Left to do is: -connect headers to existing pipes -make spacers between frame and bed -bolt bed to frame -clean fuel tank -mount fuel tank -run fuel lines from tank to pump (electric pump is mounted in bed) -install front driveshaft -install longer brake hoses -install rear shocks -test drive

Would love to play with the nitrous again, but not yet. Yes, it will be at summer bash. Can't wait to play with the truck again.

Couldn't get my fuel tank clean like I wanted it so I picked up a fuel cell and plumbed it in with the spare braided hose and AN fittings I had. Getting closer. Got it to fire today. The carb is giving troubles so I'm gonna put an edelbrock on it after I clean it up.
