i gotta save my pennies first.
I did find the problem. I split the turbine in half and stripped the splines.

Finally got the trans bolted back in. Still have to hook up drivelines, shifters, starter, etc but the trans is in the truck. A few more hours and I can see if it is fixed.

This thing sure is taking a while to get back together. Jeremy came out sunday with a friend and put my tires back on. That saved me some trouble. I got the trans plumbed and crossmember back in tonight. Topped off the fluid and it goes into gear. I now need to reinstall the front drivelines with teh old twisted shaft and put teh skid back on along with the tunnel cover. That would make it drivable. I'll mess with the steering pump at a later date since my wheeling funds are tapped out for quite a while.
Still gonna have to find a slip yoke 205 because the 208 did not work.

it was 32 spline but the splines were cut at a different angle. I am ordering a chromoly shaft from EOR on tuesday that is a direct replacement for $75 so no need for a 205 now.

Still waiting for the new shaft to ship. In the mean time I have to send my PSC pump in for a rebuild. Also had to replace the batteries, they finally took a shit. While I am waiting fro the parts to get rebuilt I did install an electric fan on my steering cooler. I have a new cooler for the trans as well that has a fan but that will go behind the cab later this winter.
So the truck is on a wheeling hold until the pump gets back(hope it doesnt take to long).

The new shaft showed up yesturday. Drivelines are now installed. Only thing to do now is wait for the power steering pump to be returned(should be in route) wire the new fan up, and weld the skid plate back on. If fuel prices stay down might be able to get a wheeling trip in this year before redoing the sheet metal.
