Trying to decide which valve body to go with when I get my transmission rebuilt for my Ramcharger. Swapping to a floor shifter when I rebuild and getting rid of the column shift so whichever I choose I can match the shifter to it. Just want your guys inputs on what you think would be a good option. I'm starting to lean towards the Auto/Manual VB just so I can put it in gear and let it choose, or drop it down into a gear and it will stay there. I can also see the benefits of having a reverse VB, so if it's in reverse and need to make a quick manuever dropping it into 1st would be right there. What do you guys think?

Tough question. I wanted to go manual reverse but my wife and daughter drive the jeep too. I think the revers shift is great for a wheeler but you chance braking parts if you down shift when the engine is not in the right rpm range with a manual valve body. On the other hand a manual shift would allow you to use a higher gear without the trans down shifting when the driving conditions warrent. IMO if your confident you will not explode anything my vote is reverse manual.

I would vote for reverse manual valve.
