i really like the thermal arc 181 its a great machine we used two of them at the last shop i worked at and they held up great and you get way more for your money than buying a miller. this guy talks about it, its kinda a long vid but i agree with what he says about the machine www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUCoAJVDWqI we even ran one of our machines with .045 wire (over recommended size) dual shield wire at max amp and only hit the duty cycle once. here is some stuff i did with the 181 the stair case and deck is thick 8" channel i welded with .045 dual shield. victortechnologies.com/Thermal%20Arc%203in1/Fabricator%20181i/index.php

I have an electrician coming this week to give estimate on setting up a 220 outlet, so that will help determine what I end up with, thanks for all the input guys, keep 'em coming!
