So last week, I was driving home from dropping off my daughter and as I am coming around a corner on 211 bam this Toyota corolla does a u turn in front of me and I ran into him. put a dent in my bumper and bent up some of the TTB components. My insurance adjuster came out and looked over my Bronco, they will not be considering it a total loss! I have also mentioned to them that I have interest in completing the repairs myself and they said that they would make the estimate and send me the check to complete the repairs. So I am thinking that I should pull the solid axle out from under old Rescue one, give it an overhaul and a new gear set to match the Green Bronco and do an SAS on their dime. Hopefully it all comes together in the end.

No I won't be letting them do that, my insurance company has already done the adjustment, I am waiting on his adjuster (since it was his fault) and then I will compare the two estimates. The only thing I worry about is doing all this in the back yard, on my only rig and getting it all done in a timely fashion. I have yet to be able to build my garage and I don't have all my tools at the house including my welder. They are all at my dads and his shop is clogged full of horse stuff and his projects for the barn. I'd really hate to just get it fixed back to normal though. We will see what happens.
