Ok friends, serious stuff here. No jokes, no poking fun. I am ready to start my build on B.O.B., my stock 1988 Ford Bronco. This will be my first build. I want to be as hands on as I can, but will definitely need the strength and knowledge (and tools lol) of my fellow Poorboys! Also gonna need any parts that people might be willing to part with. Most of all I need to know where to start, and what to get done first. My ultimate goal is to make her one bad ass wheeler! I want her to be beefy, tough, rugged. I want to beat the crap out of her, and make memories. I don't care if she becomes a Ford/Chevy/Yota/Dodge/Jeep mix, I just want her to be able to go anywhere and do anything! I wanna get her dirty, get me dirty, and just have a great time! So please, if you can help me get my dream wheeler started in any way, please let me know. I have a passion just like you, and I wanna get this party started!!!

Pick the axles your wanting to go with first.. might as well do a 14 bolt rear.. and decide if you want to keep coils in the front or go leaf sprung.

you might go over to fullsizebronco.com and do some looking around over there at some builds... I was a member there when I had my bronco.... my username was broncogoat

At this point it's gotta be driveable.... no tow rig, and no trailer yet, so she's gotta be able to be modified for street use when I'm not on the trails.
I would like to do almost everything with her, ranging from mud, to rocks, to trails, and sand.
