Hello there, I stumbled upon PoorBoy from Piston Wild forum. I started a new project after being away from the sport for a while, (only cause of priorities, not lack of interest). Even though I cannot be out on the trail while in project mode, I want to interact to keep the gears in my head active. I was looking for a Samurai, but a co-worker presented his 85 K5 with 3/4 axles up for a good price.. I've had them before and I can lift it for free, and cause I don't care about restoring an 85 I got sawzall, tube bender, tig/mig/plasma to make it clear big tires on a small lift. Hope to be out on the trail testing or just wheeling soon. Curt (Shaggy)

Forgot to mention It was sold to me with the engine that is mocked in planning to remove and keep. If I had spare coin I could keep the engine in, and we may work that out or not... Engine in vehicle is 5.3L LS based. If that deal don't work out, I will put a SBC or BBC in once I find the right one.

Welcome to the site, I know a few people from Camas. Do you know Dallas Dennis? I don't... In all my wheeling adventures we only wheeled with a few in the hood that were not related somehow.. Kevin Stump (RIP) and a boy name Rick and his pa (can't remember his name) but he worked for the railroad and they drove a CJ. Thanks for the welcomes
