if your laid off you can get assistance with school for a in demand job (trucking) and when you get out of school look into the ltl companies. at first you will do some dock work but eventually will be driving all the time. most start off around 18 per hour with 10-30 hours overtime a week. some companies even will put you thru school while you work there as a dock worker for a little less $ like con-way does

at 17 i started me own buss working on semi trucks ive done really good. one of companys i do work for sends me all over us buying trailers for them so ive been all the big companys so ive seen and heard most all i just put my two cents out there to all as a warning to read between lines before you get hopes up. most are bait and swtich so please to all be carefull and ask lots of question and most of all get it in writing.
