Bad wobble in the front of the yota Its a 1982 yota with modified rears upfront and 63's in the rear. It has a lockright in front and a spool in the rear. 36 inch Irocks and 2" spacers in the front. Seems like it starts after hitting a bump and it gets BAD.... I had the boy inside the truck moving the wheel back and forth, the dam body moves back and forth. Do I need a track bar or what? I have had a few of these trucks and never had a wobble like this. I checked the alignment and I have about 1/4 tow in, I dont have a way to check pinion angle but it looks a little low. Brakes are free and the tie rod ends are all new and tight. It has a high steer kit its nice and tight, we nut and bolted everything on the truck and still no good. It might be worse now. Any ideas?

My problem I had was the spacers and the shackles. Lost the soacers still had it the changed the shackles then it stopped. Or it's a tie rod end or wheel bearings

I have that problem and what has helped it is steering stablizer and new spring bushings. If your frame is moving its got to be in your springs some where. How is your frame where the steering box is?

I had that problem in my toyota and I replaced all the steering ends and problem was cured. then a year later I got it again all the ends were still in good shape then repacked the trunions and pulled a shim out then it never came back until an end went bad. Toyota spec is 10lbs of pull to turn the knuckle for tension on the knuckles

you know the lazy way of fixing this well how I did it in my toyota was I just dropped the front tires to like 3lbs and it was fine. plus I found on iroks it helps break the tires in. And try taking another shim or 2 out of ur knuckles under the high steer arms my buddy just had this issue with his 82 and it has 37's he replaced all his steering rod ends, repacked the trunions, and even replaced his leaf spring bushings before he would listen and pull some shims out of his steering knuckles and it fixed it. My gfs 4runner has wabble but I just took the tires down haha
