How thick is that fan? I have a Taurus fan that I want to put in the Jeep, but it's just over 5 inches thick and I only have just over 3 inches of room between the radiator and motor.
Also, does you motor seem to be more responsive now?

I dont want to sound negative but your going to have issues keeping it cool as soon as you get any good load on it, especially this summer. I ran the same fan as a pusher and it did ok for short distance stuff. As soon as I needed some HP it would get hot. I then moved it to the rear as a puller and it did a little better but would over heat at sandlake after a short time. I then made a shroud and it worked great. Just keep an eye on it and have a good coolant gauge. As soon as you can afford it you should put a thermo switch on your fan too. I can't tell you how many times I about toasted my motor forgeting to turn it on.
As for your question mike I do believe I could tell a difference on how snappy the motor was afterwards, possibly because I was using a 7 blade fan that moved a shit ton of air before.

Thanks Jason!
I had switched to a flex fan form a hard fan a couple years ago, and that made a huge difference in freeing up more power. I've just been wondering if it's worth the trouble to go electric.
Let us know how it works for you MudHog.
