I made it up the left side the night before so i decided a new line was in order By mudmaniac3 at 2012-09-12 you know what they say quit when ur ahead i shoulda stuck to the left line but ended up braking the rear pinion off By mudmaniac3 at 2012-09-12 By mudmaniac3 at 2012-09-12 came home sunday night and had it fixed monday and ready to go again.

Well took the scout to browns camp and browns camp won for sure. let the ol lady run the scout up firebreak 5 then i went to take it through the crushers and that ruined my day haha. 2nd gear rev limiter drops does't work on rocks. exploded a rear ujoint that took out the driveline part of the yoke/flange deal and when the driveline shot off it broke off my muffler and exhaust got that all fixed met up some others and wala some says hey ur rear leaf spring looks funny. oh broke the main leaf off in front of the axle so the rear end swung so i chained the rear end up and drove to airplane to watch everyone else brake their junk. I had to pull off the trail to let people by while we winched up my buddy's samurai after he broke the input shaft and you can really see the rear end swung well my day was pretty much done so i towed the samurai back to the trailer and on then fought the scout on the trailer. got some work ahead of me now

Well my buddy was out cruising around on the mountain with a buddy late saturday night when he got a little carry'd away and hit some loose gravel and flew off the side of the road. I get the call Sunday morning at about 9 to see if I can help winch the truck up and on to the trail. So I loaded my scout on the trailer still with a broken rear leaf spring, broken front shock mount, no exhaust, and picked up a winch control and hooked the winch up and away we went. Met up with my buddy and headed up. He had a dislocated shoulder but was ok his buddy that was with him knocked out his front teeth. well got to gravel unloaded the scout and headed up with the other trucks up the gravel. get to his truck and this is what we see. FROM THE ROAD up closer some how he missed all the big trees but he did tag one and it ripped off the driver side knuckle, tire, wheel off Got to try out my winch for the first time and it worked great here is the damage at its best looks pretty ruff

yeah he is gonna put an 88 extra cab toy body on the frame he already got it. well I did some work on the scout. i swapped out new to me chevy springs in the rear and I put the exhaust back on. now just to fix the front shock and clean it up cause all my junk is all over inside. also found a broke stud at my rear third member so gotta fix that but its ok for now. not leaking to bad. rear driveline is a little short with the new springs but it may be because its my spare driveline and it may be a little shorter than my normal driveline. i'd say the springs were a little bent anyways and the rear springs need to settle so that the truck sits more level. or i could get rid of my rear zero rate but i'm using it to move the rear end back. but i've been thinking of ordering the ruffstuff spring perch that adds 2'' back just need to put my ford shock tower on and reinstall the front shock and go pick up a new power steering belt and my winch remote and i'll be 100% ready to go again. ha oh wait i still need wipers and a heater but whatever

Are you running the stock studs in the thirds or have you swapped to the cap screws already.

i swapped to the cap screws when the stud broke. i had them in my old 84 but that housing was all beat in from one run in the crushers with no diff armor. so this one didn't have them yet but does now in the rear front. never has any issues
