Top side of the engine is pretty much done, just gotta change the oil and filter and fill the t-case back up and deal with the old trans wiring and I'm ready to start it finally. Keep debating if I want to spend $200 on a timing adapter or just run the truck to newberg to have timed. And I keep looking at the 3" shackle reversal kit. Can't seem to make up my mind.

It lives finally. Hardly had to crank it and it fired right off after having the fuel system apart. The clutch bled it's self after filling then working the peddle and finally letting it sit a day or soo. Trans slides right into 1st like butter so that's all I care about. The fuel knock I was worried about is hardly there, I'm thinking it is because I reused my old pump but not positive. Won't get to take a test drive til sat

At least you got it running, my Ranger's sitting without any drivetrain, engine in the garage with just a crankshaft attached... really need to get on that...
On another note, next year I'll be looking into a diesel tow rig, either turbo diesel ford or later 12v cummins... so if you find an extended cab or crew cab for cheap...

Bought a second ATS 093 wastegated set up. It's also a 3" outlet like I'm running now but the filter lid is kinda obscure, don't really see many of them. Was able to swing it so one of them will get the upgraded inducer wheel and installed onto the truck then the second kit may go up for sale. The cover that isn't seen as much as the Ford or plain ATS lids.

It was miserable with rain and snow at times but new 4" exhaust on. Completed for around $200, beats 350-400 for a cheap kit.

It tends to roll around the back of the truck onto what ever is behind me. People usually back off after that, especially people with nice cars like a BMW etc like the lady the other day that got so close all I could see was the very top of the wind shield and roof over my tail gate.

Just do the home work on what platform will fit your long term goal and you'll be happy with what ever you end up with.

Every one has there preference and I know they are capable of some big numbers but there's a stigma that fallows some dodge owners and I'm not sure how to describe it, not sure arrogance completely fits but a bunch of them act like its the only diesel out there worth owning type of feeling I get when I read adds, forum posts etc. I'm heavily thinking about doing another OBS ferd but in a crew cab with a DT360 swap but that's $ I don't have right now or atleast can't spend cause of the wife.

Haha well I wouldn't build it something stupid I'd just put a dual friction clutch in it and bigger injectors but nothing too serious
