I have been gathering tools at work for various projects. The latest was a JD2 TN-100. Here is how it showed up. It was partially assymbled and was pretty easy to put together. The only issue I had with it was one part was a little tight and the clamp would not slide. It was such an easy repair it would have taken more time to call up JD2 then to simply correct it. Basically this is as far as it would slip on. I buffed the inside of the aluminum slightly and the issue was fixed. Here it is all together. I bolted it to my welding table and gave it a try. It worked great. The kit came with a hole saw adapter aswell which was needed with what I was doing. The kit says up to 2". I am not certain if the 2" limitation was due to tube size fitting in the clamp because I was cutting on 2", but I can tell you a 2 1/4" hole saw will definitely fit. You may even be able to go one size bigger. A link to their site. www.jd2.com/t-notchercomparison.aspx
