wow that looks like fun... need to take it to woodburn this summer an see what she'll do in the 1/4 ;D We are planning on taking it to PIR 1/8 mile to start with. It came with racing tires for it (seen in video). Depending on how fast it is, we may never let him run the 1/4 mile. Not without more safety gear and a windshield. We did hook up a tether cord and are planning on running the Alburn sand drags and the sand drags at Dunefest this year.

It's got too many strange things that people are not use to like the race shifting (1up, rest down) and the button shifting where the timing cut out and NOS are programmed with the button. Plus I'd hate to have someone hurt them selves on this bike. We will do the 1/8 first and see how it handles at lower speeds before deciding if Ty can run the 1/4 with it. It’s really designed for the hill shots and 300ft sand drags so 1/4 mile may be to much for such a short wheel base at that speed.

Tyler has already jumped it. It seems to do fine. We just needed to tighten up the suspention a little for a taller ride height. It was easy to do with just a screw driver and 10 minutes of work.

I broke it.. Broke the chain, sprocket and part of the case.... Case is easy fix, not internal, or leaking, just the edge, but I don't know where to get another 160 link 530 chain and 56 tooth sproket for this aftermarket axle.. I don't even know the name of the axle, or if other sprokets would fit.
I was lucky. I was doing about 90 MPH when it broke. It didn't hit me and didn't lock up the rear tire. Lucky... It could have been bad.

The rear looks all banshee, looks like a durablue rear axle. I have a large sprocket somewhere I will look for it. its aluminum and they dont last long in the sand but you can have it.

I've been looking to try and find out what type of rear axle it is. Tyler is thinking it is a JJ@A drag axle. I don't know. I just need to get a sprocket for it now. It's 55 tooth and it is a 6 bolts to hold it on.

Here is some pics of the ported intake and carbs. Notice the markings on the head?? Is that Blue printing marks? Their is more marks like that on where the case halfs match. Pic of the carbs off and changing the jetting. and a second one.

Anyone know why my splined hubs keep coming loose on my axle, or how to stop it? I used JB Weld on the other one to see if it will work and not come loose. Also any advise on getting my gas tank to fill easier. The cap is not twist off and is hard to get off in the sand and easy to get sand it the tank once the cap is off. Side view. Notice it does not unscrew, it is a press, clamp on type.

What? no suggestions?! I'm not feeling the love! Someone has to have a good Idea...
Someone suggested using a simple velcro and vinal cover for the gas cap, but I'm afraid it would slosh and soak though. It is a factory cbr900RR gas cap setup. I've looked on line (ebay and such) I see several caps but no ones that repalce it insert to make them screw off, or easy.

Yes I'd like to replace it but I don't see a screw on type, only the same type we already have wich suck for the sand... Sand gets in top cap and you can not twist it. you have to plow off the sand before removing the cap. Even then it is hard to take off with your hands. It turns into a 15 minute job and you have to use air and tools most of the time. What a messed up design. I really want to make it easy like it should be.
