Found two more problems with the motor. The lack of 4 lobes on the cam: And a broken piston ring. #4 cylinder was egg shaped. So new motor here I come.

Had it bored .030 over, forged TRW 10-1 compression pistons, ported and port matched heads, factory 4 barrel intake, and Hooker headers, Super 44 Flowmasters, 750 Edelbrock, Holley Fuel Pump, .501 lift 292 duration Comp Cam, Rhoads Lifters, ect. Hardly spent anything, and got 370 horse Not only that, but I kept the motor looking dead stock besides the headers. All in!

Tires on As you can tell, 2 1/2 lift, they didn't want to fit, so out came the Sawzall and Toolman to help make it look all purdy, and not hacked up.... After cutting the fenders Even saved the inner fenders!

Thanks! I just took it for a test drive, trying to get it tuned right. Holy cow! That thing scares the crap out of me now that I finally have the timing chain on right. Its the fastest vehicle I have ever been in or driven by far.

Thanks! I took it for another test drive, got up on a long stretch and let her have it... I was at 5500rpm, 2nd gear, doing 85mph, when a freeze plug let go. Water hit the back tires, and they kicked loose and I almost lost it. Talk about a pucker moment. I seen the white light till I let off and up shifted. Got home real fast and I was shaking ha. Scared me.
