Added just a 3" turn down and it's much more bearable int the cab. Haven't driven it conservatively but the milage at the last fill up was at 9.8 mpg a .4 increase over being nice to it.

I don't know if it's completely visible but I found some minor frame damage after pulling the bumper. The end of the ds frame is bent up slightly.

Started building a winch bumper for it. At some point I'll get the frame straightened a little more before the bumper goes on.

Got what appears to be about a 4" lift from a 93 diesel for 200$. As soon as I figure out the u-bolt situation it'll go on solving my clearance issue.

Yah I really like this body style of ford truck. Next one I own I think I want the power stroke version crew cab short bed f350. The 460 I have now is kinda fun with the mods I've done to it but it's brutal on the wallet when it comes to mpg.
On a separate note, the springs still had the part numbers painted on them and so I figured out that I do have a 4" BDS lift for better or worse.

Rear blocks in and all four tires on the ground. Just got to finish buttoning up some minor stuff so I can drive it. I'm hoping the front will settle to take care of positive camber.

Added some lights. Here very soon I'm putting in new ball joints and maybe adjusters. I would have the winch in but there is no place for a second battery and I refuse to locate it in my bed. I may get the diesel coolant res and wind shield res and relocate some emissions stuff but it'll have to wait for now.

Finally got motivated enough to pull the bumper back off and cap the ends. Cleaned it all up and sprayed it satin black.
