Dicenn & his daughter and Renee & me did Trail clean-up and a little trail maintenance starting at 7-UP, Hogsback, then Rocky Uphill. Dicenn trying to get to the face of 7-UP Triple Diamond. Renee figured out that the signs are getting torn up by flying rocks. Jahmaal from ODF is going to reset the sign so it is out of the way of flying debri.

Dicenn made it pretty much up to the face of the triple diamond side. We did some clearing of low branches and opened up the right side of the trail. We might think about a water drain at the start of the trail?

Doing a little daylighting and opening up the enterance to 7-UP Green side. The water drain diverters are holding up nicely. Might be a good idea to do some more daylighting on the Green side.

it used to have a large drain at teh bottom but the steep angle causes the tires to smooth it out. your right we need to do something there.

Near the top of 7-UP Green side, there is a Huge deep hole in the trail that needs filled. Looks like a lot of rigs have slipped into it and got stuck. This looking down from the top. Not sure if we want to try and put another water drain diverter in here...or if we even can? Gets a little steep there for that.

Another view of the hole on 7-UP Green side near the top. This pic is looking down from the top. I had to put the Jeep in 4 Lo to get thru this. Granted I have front & rear limited slip and the tires where at 25psi.

Here is the sign at the top of 7-UP Triple Diamond...Jahmaal from ODF said he would get a new Triple Diamond sign up soon. Jahmaal was also asking about us putting in some kind of filter at the top of 7-Up to keep people with daily drivers from from going down from the top and getting stuck down below. Jahmaal would like to set up a meeting with us and discuse this issue, preferred before the snow flies. He was thinking of some big boulders that would be hard for daily drivers to get over or some kind of body flex filter.

The Blue side of 7-UP was pretty easy to get down. The hole half way down has gotten filled in from what it was before. Blue is almost easier then the green side.

Up to now we were left to do all the equipment and man power while other trails got assisted by odfw equipment other than rock dropped off for us. I believe they were busy with other trails. sounds like they may have time now? we could use large boulders at the top and bottom to keep stockers from going to the rock face too.
