AHHH... feels good to work on the bucket again... front at full right turn and ride height... of course before cutting rear fender trimming in progress... need to flex it out to see if it needs more before i patch it up ended up cutting more than i wanted but there was a lot of rust back there... cant wait to get the 63"s back there and get rid them dang nasty shackles too... blaa

Well if you do the chevy-Yota double shackle you'll have alot of rear suspension droop

yea... im sorta leary about the 63's still... i really wanted to do the f150 springs but the 63's just fell in my lap... and that goes with the type of "build" it is lol

well among all the mess that is life at the moment... Ive managed to get some work in on the good ole runner... Even with the axle forward almost 4 inches, the tires still liked to chew at the firewall.. so i hacked it up and Tubbed my front end, only got decent pic of passenger side, but drivers is same.... ugly, ish... but functional. also clearanced my frame for my steering linkage that was rubbing at full stuff and somehow, doing one of those two things (still havent figured it out) has made it so i could now pull my front shaft apart when i really flexed out.. i was definitely using all the travel of the stock drive line. actually surprised ive never had this issue before.. And since im a cheap bastard, and had the parts laying around.... i made my own long spline driveline... yet to be welded together and tested... i have my fingers crossed... In a pinch i can now use it as a rear driveline also if needed to escape my own fate.... as they were only 2 inches different to start with.. well there we go.... My trucks been sitting for a good couple months no... has a broken motor mount and needed that driveshaft "fixed" i hope to get it tested and wheeling by maybe cruising the woods... but we will see

finnaly got the driveline in yesterday, got it field tested but not trail tested, we will see... been working on a solution to a problem i have, my old pitman arm had a jam nut under it... when my drivers front would stuff into the fender the nut could get stuck on one side of the spring or the other, or drag on the spring itself.. so I put together a "low profile" double sheer, floating pin almost complete pitman arm... should work, just have to get some more gusset in there

the quick and easy way would to be get a reversing Double pull Double throw (DPDT) power in one side, ground in other... they make some nice looking switches other than toggles also... here are a couple of pics i just found randomly this is the back of the switch if you buy a reversing toggle if i were to do it cleaner i would personally use something like i did this just with my own switches......on off on switches.. definitely not as clean as above switch, but cheaper lol

no, my runner was manual when i bought it...so i converted it to electric, and because i wanted to remove the doors also, put the switchs in the center console so i didnt have to disconnect a bunch of wires from the drivers door every time
