i picked up a new truck a few weeks ago and am starting the build as parts get here. as of right now it has a 460, 4 speed granny low transmission, divorced 205 t-case. it will eventually be getting a doubler using a married case and trans and the divorced 205. for the lift i am doing a shackle flip in the rear with new shackles, the front is getting a new set of shackles and lowering the front spring hanger. the lift parts and 44 boggers will be here in a few days to get started on it. i am still in search of a 78-79 dana 60 front or a set of steering rocks. on to the pic.

the boggers made it here today but 4 wheel parts screwed up and sent me boggers for a 16" wheel instead of the 16.5 i ordered. so tomorrow i need to get a set of wheels and get them mounted. i will also be getting started on the shackle flip and replacing the front chackles tomorrow

thanks for the info i am mostly looking for 2 fronts when i swap to rocks so i can do rear steer and an 8 lug disc brake conversion. im kind of pissed though i ordered a set of wheels 2 weeks ago so i could get the tires mounted and get started on my lift so i went to get them mounted yesterday and the wheels still arent in and they said they had to be custom built and are still 2 weeks out. how damn hard is it to get 16" 8 lug wheels that are 10" wide it is total bs and for the price i could have got alot nicer wheels at another place and had them mounted a week ago.

I had the same problem with schwabs for the same size wheel. Then when I got the wheels I drove the truck for a couple days then had to leave back to my duty station leaving the truck at my parents. My parents called me telling me my tire keeps going flat and they made a appointment to bring it in. I feared a tire but it ended up being the wheel was cracked and I never took it off road, barely even drove it due to gas milage (gas was still over 3$ and it gets under 10mpg). Schwabs tried telling me my tire was too big and the manufacture shut them up and said it was just a deffective wheel. I left in october and before leaving ordered certain lift peices I lack and they've never called............ so I get your frustration. My patience is about done with schwabs.

yea i know the les schwab frustration my buddy was going to have his 02 chevy lifted they told him it would be $1500 with the lift installed so we dropped it off the next day they call a few hours later and say it needs an extra $2000 in work to the front end. needles to say we left and decided to do a sas instead for a hell of alot less than that.

Do to law suits, Schwabs has to make sure everything is perfect with the vehicle. Kinda sucks.
