Using the s10 frame will look cleaner than just a body swap but like you said alot of work. How about a pic of the bad section of frame?

it all depends on what you want to do with it. if it just a wheeler i would be more willing to say run the full size. if its on the street i would use the s-10

I agree it would probably look much cleaner with the s10 frame. I will get a pic tomorrow, right side front spring is set back at least 2" and there is a crease where the frame bent by the t-case. My 2 cents...Use the S-10 frame. It will be cleaner, already boxed, and you don't have to source another frame.

Well I ran into a big dilemma and i feel pretty stupid, found that the frame I was going to use is bent pretty bad and I think since I'm in it this far I figured I want to do it right. So I need to decide either to look for another frame to use or just use the s10 frame, straight axle it and drop the v8/tranny/t-case into it. Either way it's going to be alot of work but found out that the s10 frame is boxed 3/4 of the way and may be even stronger that the k5 frame that is just c channel. What are your suggestions? Josh I have two full size frames, a long bed and a short bed............... Buzzer didn't want one when I offered one to him for his project, I still wanna get rid of them (either frame would be free just wanna keep the running gear). The thing is 1 is a roller and the other a runner and I won't be there to help strip it down till next month. And they are both in the valley around salem. I'm going to try to get atleast one of them stripped and scrapped when I come home if no one wants one. So if you want one let me know so I can let the right people know and you can pick one up. Just thought I'd throw that in there, don't really want to waste a four wheel drive frame.

I think I'm already leaning towards using the s10 frame, but I'll let you know, thanks for the offer.

Yeh it sucks but it will probably end up looking nicer and cleaner by using the s10 frame.
