might not be able to put it in now. I have almost everything off allot of stuff you have to take off a pathfinder to do it. Then I got to the front bumper there are 4 bolts in the worst place to get to and they are all seized i had a 1/2 drive socket on there with a 24mm wrench on the back of that 4 leverage (largest you can fit in area and still would not budge). I socked them with PB again but after 2 hours of trying to get any of those bolts to move I am beat. I will try again in the morning. these things are so stuck if I had a welder to put a bumper back on it i would cut the SOB off.

Sorry I can't give you a hand Joe, I'm going to be out of town for the next 2 weeks for training so I'm spending as much time as possible with the wife and boys.
On a side note, cut that bumper off, we'll figure out how to put it back on later.

completely understand guys I know everyone is busy. I got 2 of the sized bolts out by heatinf the plate they go through and ice cubing both sides of the bolts right afterwords. then they came out were still really hard, It did not work on the other 2, I am going to go down to napa in a little while and get some new hacksaw blades and try to cut between the bumper and mount to take the bolts in half.

well im not going to get it put in this weekend I have 1 bolt left stopping me I ended up stripping the end of the bolt off (with the right size socket on it). So I am putting back together far enough to drive it so I can bring it to work next week sometime so i can use the corner drill then a easy our and see if i can get it out that way.

something I have done in that case and I am assuming you have room since you had a torch in there but maybe not, put a nut up there and weld it to the head of thoe old bolt and weld it good with lots of heat! let it cool for a few min and then use whatever size wrench you need. I had to do that on 4 of 6 bolts on the last bumper I took off it was freakin rediculous but after the weld everything came off like butter... oh and dont use standard bolts when you put it back together, make sure to use g8 or at least a galvanized bolt! LOL all my rear bumper bolts were siezed and no pb blastere or heat helped and the heads broke off! freakin lame!

I will be building a bumper for the pathfinder in the future just need it back on to drive it on the street 4 now.

finally got the stuck and stripped bolt out today, maybe that bolt was why i got the thing so cheep. that was the most pain in the a@@ bolt I have ever delt with. So next weekend i will go for round 2 of trying to get the body lift on.

the pathfinder is siting in the garage with one side up 3" higher then the other side. I was hopping to get all the mounts in tonight but I had to do some rearranging in the garage and figure out where i put one of my toolboxes, with my impact sockets. It is after 10 and I have to pound the hell out of the old body bolts to get them out so i thought I would let my neighbors sleep i will start again in the morning.

That's mighty nice of you to let your neighbors sleep, make sure you wake them up nice and early with the sound of a BFH. Hope all goes well for ya.

I wasn't so nice one night about 11pm and my neighbor knocked on my door. Didn't think he could hear me outside with the door shut...but I guess he can.
Can't wait to see the Pathfinder with it's new elevation.

I had to cut the heads off the rear bolts and airhammer them out. Found out later that the factory welded the rear bolts, no wonder they were hard to get out. I thought they were just rusted in.
