Ok... it's kinda hard to keep something a secret from people on this site....LMAO.... time to come Clean.... I now have a: 1993 Jimmy SLE / 4x4 / 4dr. / AT. / 4.3 Vortec (axles 3.42-if i have the code right) I picked up in Yamhill a couple of weeks ago...(Thanks Ashley & family for letting me store it there) till i got it home today(thanks Josh & Tyler for driving it back) I'll have better pics of it as i get to mess with it... long term plans will include full size axles and 35's got to sell the Ford, to start some of the quick things... body lift/31" tires/motor swap.....(top end has alot of new stuff & bottom end has a bad bearing, Tranny seems to be in great working order-as well as the rest of the rig)

so parting out the ford mmm would give you the axels with 410 gears and the tires you like looks clean bill lets fix that time to trim the fenders

(it only cost $480)

They started naming the motors that in '93, they built the cylinder heads so they would have a vortex affect earlier in production years but didn't start calling the engine that until '93. I think.
