this is my 64 IH SCOUT. I call it my ten year plan.wheeled it broke it fixed it. It has a 302 small block in this photo with all stock running gear. Winch was the grate down fall. four rear ends three tranies and two transfer cases and more scouts (it was cheaper to by a hole trk than to just buy the loose parts) I just about sent her to the scrap yard ,but just could not take the torch to her So since she had a 302 why not build on that ? DID SOME HORSE TRADING, for an old winch ,I got a hp 44, a 4 speed trans with a 205 transfer case nine inch rear end and eight inch front lift springs. It may be crazy and my friends say just to by a bronco, but I like my s268.photobucket.com/albums/jj23/2bzhunting/scout1/?acthttpaction=view¤t=PICT0258.jpgion=view¤t=2008-01-25-2102-40.jpg

Yea I think your right it is all apart would not take that long to do. Question ? I have replaced a lot of axle balljoints seals but never a gear set the gears look fine but since I'm this far why not do all the seals. dose the 44 have a crush sleve Ineed to worry about ? and when I pull my gear set out to replace the inner sealsany thing I should be a where of, dont want to spend the money I dont have.
