Sorry about breaking your strap Ken, I think those straps with the hooks on the ends are not very strong, get one with sewn on loops.

Josh No problem....was a Harbor Freight special....will pick up another one from Harbor Freight next payday...they are on sale for $9.99 . I have used that strap many times, and for as small as it was it served its time. I do have a chain, just keep forgetting to put it in the Jeep . I was surprised it didn't break right at the hook, broke below the sewed part. Will make for a good axle wrap strap now....lol

LOL probalby worse, pushing it all down a drain!! LOL The owner of the carwash digs them out once a week. It's the closest carwash from Browns Camp, that and the one in Tillamook. He seems pretty use to it. ;D

Ugggh!...I think the tranny is going out?....Sounds like it is slipping a little when shifting into high gear. Will try to get it to Dave's Transaction soon. I think the power booster is starting to leak vacuum too? Hear a hiss every once in a while. Will pick up one of those with new brake calipers soon too. Still got to pick up the wire for the winch.

Called Dave's Transaction today, got an appointment to have the tranny looked at next Monday. Being the AW-4 electronic tranny, they have the equipment to diagnos it. Could have shorted out the ECU when we had the problem at Sand Lake, got a 2nd one as a back-up. Don't want to put anything in til I find out what is up first. New tranny could run as much as $3000.00......ouch!

As far as the shifting dodad...lol, I seen something similar to that for shifting first & second gear, since there is only one spot for first & second and the computer shifts it for you.
