RUSTY FAB ...... LOL At least we won't forget whos Jeep it is LOL Tyler doesn't like the name. I guess he will have to change them when he gets it . I hope to try them out on Sunday. Now I think the only thing I "need to do" before the Rubicon trip is to replace the fan to keep it cooler and reinforce the stearing arm. I would also like to finish the roll cage, but that is more of a want then a "need".

The jeep is so light with those tires, I run 8 psi on the street with them.. The day the Picture was taken I had 8 Psi in the front and had put 11 psi in the back. I know a little backwards, but I was working on getting the flat spots out of the byas ply tires. Some peeps told me when I was climbing the rocks, the tires did squat almost to the rims, so on the Rubicon trip. I plan on keeping them at 8 Psi unless I have to much trouble.

I know what you mean about the lightweight rig on those tires. I have the goodyear military tires on my jeep, one tire had 0 psi and you really couldnt tell... Guess they need broken in... Is there something you have heard about having more pressure in the rear than front?

Kevin (Mudslinger) has similar tires and he found out when he runs them with close to 30 PSI in them, they ride smooth, so, last time I aired up (Hmmm.. Ya went from 2.5 to 8 Psi) I overshot one back tire, to 11 psi. So I just matched both back tires to 11. On my rig, 11psi makes it ride worse then 8psi and I have just not lowered it yet...
Even at 8psi, the chock test shows the tires are still rounded and wearing in the middle of the tire and not all the way across.

getting close to being ready for the con.
Picked up a 2 speed Ford Taurus fan from Josh the other day. (Thanks again) Last night I removed my old fan and will put it in the trailer if I need it as a pusher. Mounted the new fan and purchased two relays for the two speeds of the fan. After a phone call from Josh to figure out the wiring, I now have a fan that comes on low speed when the key comes on, then using my temp sending unit, when it hits 200 degrees, the low speed will turn off and the high speed will turn on. The fan and shroud covers 99% of the radiator and I have not seen the temp climb any more then 195-ish.
