I totally agree with Willynilly. It could even become the theme of the machine. I was looking at an old Willy and you'res seems to have the round part of the gille on a little more of an ecentric. Tooooo coooool.

putting the shock mount on the steering arm isnt gonna cause irratic steering? Will be interesting to see when its all done. Definetly looking good.

I came up with the idea from others who are doing the same with no ill affects. I spent alot of time making sure the mounts are dead center over the king pin!

it's almost like having a macphereson strut setup with a solid axle. have to give you props for trying something different. lookin good.

The UPS guy stopped by tonight. Dana 60 diff covers with 1/2" flanges 1/4" cover and 1/2" mid plate over the ring gear.They feature a raised fill plug for more lube capacity and a drain plug that goes up through the bottom of the flange. drain plug
