Finally got to test the beast in the trails this week. DAMN is it nice!!! any trail or section that used to give me a hard time, well, lets just say that i didn't even realize i was at that section till i was already past it. This thing is bad a$$!!! The only thing i wis was better is the turning radius. with the front and rear locked up, tight turns SUCK!! I was doing 3 point turns in parts of firebreak 5 that i used to navigate easily before. Oh well, i think it's a fair trade. Didn't get any action shots of it on my camera, but my buddy got a few. Hopefully he'll send them to me. kiddo loves it XJ with custom longarms, 35's, super 30 front with arb, 8.25 rear with arb, my zj, pretty much stock taco on 31" x terrains. taco on firebreak 5 little video climbing hogs back. lesson learned from the hillclimb....... i need limiting straps for the rear. drivers side rear spring came out of the upper pearch and fell out towards the spring. when it started compressing again, the spring was nowhere near holding ANY weight. listen close in the video and you can hear it rubbing against the frame towards the top of the hill. myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=11785566

Man I have to say I am really impressed with your rig now. I was looking at you comming up 7up hill when we did trail repair. I love how the axles move under it and the rig stays pretty level. You did a great job!
I thought you had an ARB up front? My turning ratio is great because it can be unlocked at any time. Can't you do the same?
Hope to see you on the trail soon.

Thanks man! I'm really happy with it. I wish i would have had the extra scratch to get arb's front and rear, but randy cut me a good deal on the front detroit with the 4.88's already on it and I came across the rear detroit on pirate for 325 shipped. I'm getting more used to it now and if i prepare for the sharp turn in time i don't have as much of a problem. We're gonna have to hit the trails sometime soon so i can see those 39.5's grenade the D30. I really don't want that to happen to you, but if it does, I REALLY wanna see it happen!

don't have any. been to busy to go wheelin lately. working 2 jobs, 6 days one week and 7 days the next kinda puts a damper on offroad superfuntimes. and there is the little problem with driving the piss out of the EVO. DAMN i love that car!!!! I get in the jeep and put the pedal to the floor and it feels like i'm standing still. I think the zj is gonna get some play time on xmas eve since i don't have to work.

similar to this, but with the winch lower (because i'm removing the AC system and cutting out the grill) and some thin sheet to skin it. I"m not real big on the way open tube style. I guess it all depends on how i build it.
