LOL!! cards, too funny pb1. Jason if you need something done all see what I can do just Pm me, or something. I work in a precision sheet metal shop, powder is one thing we can do in the process, so we don't do vary much out side custom stuff. But that doesnt mean I can't slide something through. money pit, trying to get r done soon as possible, I'm having wheeling withdraw. And the motor from the 88 runner is going in there. spunks00, my wife shakes her head too at the weird stuff I do. Oh and the rear leafs came out of a short bed 1/2 ton single cab, there were only two leafs and an over load. Weird, I see every one else has 3, I guess will see how it works. Thanks all for the positive feed back!

WOW that's nice. its got more options then mine, sweet. I don't know why I didn't do the straight axle maybe I will some day for now I just got to get it on the road. It may become my daily driver for so time so I got hold back a little. plus the old red runner will start to get built so I want to focus my energy on that one. Chevy 3/4 ton axle th350 205 and I'm thinking about dropping my 73nova motor in to it.

And the engine about to come out of the 88 The engine out, bolted on the AC bracket, Now its sitting in the 87, little low in the back with no tranny yet. The 88 has an oxygen sensor and the 87 doesn't.?? Easy parts done, now I got to figure out the wiring, going from automatic to manual trans. Have to install a hydraulic clutch assembly, there is allot to do, same vehicle but a lot of different things on them, ether got to go around it, or replace it, or eliminate it. What a pain in the butt, I just want to hit the trail.

I baught a 22re from crusty off of craigs list and he let me pull it and take prity much what I wanted with it. So, I took it out and left the wiring harness on the motor, for an easy install. It didn't work. The wiring on the truck was diferent. His truck was 86-7ish automatic mine is a 85, 5 speed. Maybe yoy can check and see if you can switch some more of the wiring harness from the other truck. You shouldn't need it in the one you're smallblocking. Who knows you might get lucky and save a lot of time and frustration. A lot of the wiring harness unplugs here and there. Maybe you can switch brains and a couple more plugs will fit. Take them out out and post pics. Maybe some of us toy guys might be able to help with ideas or eaven parts. Its a lot easyer to do than butchering your wiring and still not have it running.

was the oxy sencor on the exaust manafold on the 87? It should have one if it was efi. It came on the manafold on my 85. I don't see any wiring in any of the pics. Its not gone, is it? PS, I never saw anyone lift a motor with a ratchet strap before.

ya got the harness. And two computers both the same. pic below shows the old red 88 and how it hooks up. pic below shows the new black 87 and how it hooks up. Now it dose plug in fine but I'm missing some stuff theirs 6 pins on top and 4 pins below it on the white connector. so I no I'm missing some thing probably the oxygen sensor wires. there must have been one in the manifold, that pipe was all i got. I need to look at some ones to see how the wires runs for the oxygen sensor.

Yours might be there and you just don't see it. Or, know thats what it is. OH,...I also saw your red one on craigs list today.
