decided to add a 3 gauge cluster...(temp/volt/oil pres) oil pressure, hooked up just fine Volt gauge...not hooked up.. trying to decide where to wire it up to temp gauge... first off it's a metric fitting... so i got an adaptor.... well upon tightening it down, i broke half the collar to the adaptor...I know there tappered... but i couldn't get the sending unit pice to snug up..... so now i have another adaptor on order, to try again. any ideas?

i BS'd with the wife about it, but with moving into an apt(so we can pay our bills down) to get a house someday.... and the truck being mostly gone through now.... we can't really aford to sell it and pick up another fixer upper... still interested in the idea of a 90' mid size blazer(with square fenders) FI, PS, at, 4dr and straigh axle it... I'm sure it would be some work.... but at least it would fit into a garage plenty of room for the kid/wife and what ever..... and parts for them every where. MAYBE something like this 1994 - 4.3 L Vortec 4300 V6, CMFI, 195 hp (145 kW)/260 ft·lbf

Hey Buzzer, I have the same plans for my 94 S10 with a 4.3 vortec. There is a great site dedicated to S10's www.s10extremist.org check it out. It would be nice to have another S10 on the hillside. A dovetailed, 5.38 geared, 3/4 ton running gear ... and maybe a transplanted 454-th400 with 41" Iroks is my goal, What are you planning?

your going about it all wrong. Your eyes are a little bigger than your budget and work space. If you started with a 1/2 ton chevy pickup that wasnt a fixer upper but just a good ol beat up runner you could wheel every other weekend and do bolt on upgrades when the wallet allowed. But your ford sounds like it is almost there now I suppose.
Your S-10 idea would be cool but there is a lot of nickle and dime stuff in that kind of project you dont see until getting into it.
