I also have the shaft from the colum to the box. I will modify it later. I did some test fitting and the steer box end is the exact same on a chevy box as on a freightliner. I have new spicer ujoints in both ends as well.

Got a used Freightliner steering wheel to make an adapter. I cut the foam of it and cut the center out. After a little reworking I got it to install upside down so I have a flat surface to drill for the chevy steering wheel.

I still cant believe the F/L shaft went on to the chevy box with no modifications. That saved me a couple hours of coming up with a mounting design.

I got a chance to do a little more to the bronco. I spent the last couple days working on my brothers rig. Anyway I had some cracks and bent frame rails on the front so I just bobbed em off and tubed the front. I also got tired of moving the plasma cutter so I made a lil cart outa scrap.

Well it was on sale for $1095. I wouldnt have gotten it except I got it off the Cornwell truck and he carried the account. Anyway the first one I got lasted 2 days and then broke. I gave it back and started to get the run a round a little so I told the Cornwell dude either give me a new one not this one repaired or gimme my money. So I got a new one but it was a lil different. It is a lil heavier duty and so far has worked very well. Almost paid off too. It has saved me so much time I cant believe I use to use a cuttoff wheel.

man i really like the tube frame tie in job on your bronco, by doing that you have totally strengthendthe front, where will that tubing sit at compared to the old frame, lengthwise? is it going to also work as the front bumper to build off of or will you be adding more length to that to form your bumper?? i really like the looks of that....Sean

It's just bairly longer than the stock frame was. I have been working on getting the chevy box mounted on it. Hadnt really worked on it since sunday. Cant really go much farther on the front with out a grill to mock up the core support.
