When I torqued mine I used a real complicated formula since I didnt have a torque wrench that big. I calculated the length of the bar I slid onto my 3/4" breaker bar wich was 56". I used my weight(x) times the amount I am able to bench press(y) devided by the amount of twist and flex of the handle. The trick is to formulate the size of grunt you have. Basically cheater bar and a real hard pull

Not to change the subject or sugest something that was already shot down, but like I told PB You can buy a new center peice from sixstates to convert the hubs (that you already have) to be 35 spline. I think the parts are about $30 or so. The shafts are about $80 ea. @ sixstates. Maybe later down the road if you find the need. Over the years of wheeling my D60 with 44 inch tires, I've only brocken 2 stock stubs. I havent brocken any 35 slined ones yet. The old guys down at sixstates are realy smart about that stuff, and realy easy to work with.

Good info possum I thought that I would have to replace the hole Warn hub. If I can just get the internal pieces, all look into replacing um, and going 35 spline. But until I get some 44s all hold off for a bit.

you should have powder coated the shafts, that would be cool.

well got the passenger side button up, the drivers is all most done. also got a line on a cross over steer set up and a ram assist possibly. Then hit a snag was messing with a wire fence in the back yard and managed to stab my self in the middle of my hand an inch deep. so now I cant even make a fist, I can barely type this, so long story sort that's all I can type for now.
