Okay, here's the story: I am driving home in my daily. A deer runs out in front of me. I have that big push bumper on my truck. Does the deer hit it? Oh, hell no! The damned deer hits the truck. Bends the molding around the head light and scratches the paint. Does it die so I can pick it up to bring it home to skin & fix to eat? NOOOO! It gets up and runs away... I'll post pictures of the truck before the weekend. Oh, and the tires on it too.

LOL you need a deer-ram front bumper.... Not sure where your at but in montana hitting deer is such a problem there is a truck company htat builds bumpers guarenteed to take a deer on at 70 mph without damage to your rig or bumper.

Brought home new (new to me, anyhow) axels this weekend. Staying half ton, but will be putting 4.56 gears underneath. Just gotta wait for it to get warm enough to work out in the barn.

Had to push the big girl down into the barn, something is wrong. I replaced the battery, replaced the starter, but still nothing. i am thinking its in the ignition. i tried using the push button start as well as the column (which is a pain in the ass when you have to use a pair of needle nose plyers) and all i get is a click. have full electrical power, so lights and that stuff works, but nothing else. tried to work on it saturday but hands froze to the metal so gave up.

Sounds like a bad Starter solenoid or bad ground.

Okay, took today off. I had my wisdom teeth pulled on Friday, and the swelling was still bad enough today that I sounded muffled. but great news! I got my sponsorship! *happy dance* gonna have all entry fees paid for, the truck hauled around, gas for the events, all of that! so my "mechanic" comes out to visit. Long time friend Travis, he talked his boss into the sponsorship. anyhow, he hops under my truck, pulls the starter out, we do some re-wiring, and VALLA! the truck fires up! so now i have one of those to-do lists like evryone else has. so happy - truck sitting in front of the house, still muddy from november.
