lookin good, why arent ya doing this to the 454 heads? I gotta make sure my truck is quicker than ChevyGirl's for the run on the 29th. And with only a 307, I need all the help I can get. lol That and I probably wont even order the first part for the 454 until sometime around June. My goal is to have the 454 built and installed for Summer Bash.

found these in the garage 1.94 and 1.50, dual springs 1.440 diameter with aluminum retainers for a small block.

I'm gonna leave the stock valves in the heads. It's not worthwhile to upgrade just for a weekend. Can you spot today's mod?

better hope the button dont stick or youll be rebuilding more than heads....them blue bottles do funny things inside engines That's the whole purpose of installing the kit. If it does "blow" it wont hurt my feelings one bit. I'm only gonna use it at the run in Canby on the 29th. Gonna start with a 100 shot, then step up to 150 and finally 175 if the first two don't do anything. Who wants to guess at what power level the "mighty" 307 says 'screw you!'?

I'm guessing it's the Super Powershot by NOS. It's got the powershot solinoids and jets to 175hp. I'm borrowing it from Popeye.

I think it will blow with the 150hp shot.

if you dont add an extra fuel supply I say the 100 shot. You will probly get better hp to weight ratio just by removing the big steel bed.

I am just hoping that doesnt blow if i decide to take a ride in the truck. Hey Buzzer, make sure you got your camera rolling so we can catch the carnage if anyhting does happen. i am guessing the 100 shot will ruin the motor.

LOL.. I used NOS in my Camaro. I don' t think, unless you over rev the motor.... you will blow the motor at 100 or even 150 shot. It will get hot, quickly so watch that also..
In the mud drags I have seen and done. I don't even know if you will have time enough to hit the NOS because the strips are so short and bumpy, plus you are having to shift that slow stick shift.
In my Jeep I can start of in 2nd gear high range. It is good to about 40 mph. That was to fast at the last bog we were at. I don't know how the big boys were able to keep control :-)
