Ya an the timing is right unless some how it jumped a double roller timing chain railin on it

Also re adjusted the valves checked the cam. Only other thing it'd be is the fuel pump an that's workin fine.

hmmmm. lines good filters good valves are good and pumps good? plugs and wires new? and does the 22r have an ignitor module? i know re's do and thatll cause it

carb not opening all the way? or not injecting fuel right? oh well itll be an easy rebuild just buy the gasket kit. pull it apart drop in a bucket of carb cleaner for 10 mins. brush and air hose it and throw her together

That's what we did the first time. But we took the distrubtor out an there was a little water in there. And actually checked the spark plugs. The plugs were literally roasted. All white an used my gap checker an they melted all the way to .75 instead of being at .32-.35. Now it runs better but still has a little bogging problem

It's at 38 degrees at 3,000 rpm's instead of 35. Not q huge difference but a little. I'm starting to think bad gas to because no matter the air/fuel ratio it smells lean
